Downloaded svg from etsy how to cutting files

Thank you. I purchased an svg file that is layered. I have it in the png form and I am able to get it in my silhouette studio but how do I break it apart? Or even trace it since it is a layered design. I download my cut file from etsy and it is now in my library.

However I can not get it to print? Any suggestions? Are files purchased able to be ungrouped somehow? I purchased a digital weekly kit for my planner, but I wasn't intending to have to print it as is!

There is a lot I won't use. This really depends on how the seller made it. If you can't ungroup by right clicking, and have designer edition or higher, you could use the knife tool. But, you need to have the Designer Edition of Silhouette Studio to be able to use these files. When you download cut files online, they usually come in a zipped folder and need to be extracted before you can use the files. To extract, double-click the folder and then choose extract all.

Now, you are ready to open the files in Silhouette Studio. I love it when you share however please keep in mind all images and text on this site are property of That's What Che Said.
