Fanatec released new Beta drivers for their flagship Podium Direct Drive systems which introduce the first Performance Update for the Podium Series wheelbases. The Beta driver package v includes some major driver optimizations and new firmware updates for the Fanatec DD1 including PS4 version and DD2 wheelbases and motors. Make sure to read the included info before downloading and installing the driver! Increased resolution of the FFB signal to bit increments instead of 8-bit increments — this also helps with smoothness and response.
The fidelity is now times better! Improved FFB linearity — a more linear response means more consistent torque delivery across the dynamic range.
Improved Spring Effect calculation to improve oscillation behavior. Improved Damper Effect calculation to improve oscillation behaviour.
Improved Natural Friction calculation to solve unwanted vibration. Improved general linearity between game output and torque output.
For example a 60Hz FFB signal e. Vibration functionality on supported steering wheels and pedals can also be adjusted using game telemetry. Download Features Change Tuning Menu values in the software with a wider overview compared to the wheel displays.
Allow the creation of unlimited Tuning Menu presets. Add and adjust dynamic FFB effects driven by car telemetry data: speed-sensitive damper and additional damper for driving in reverse more features to come, for example front suspension effects, rear traction loss, and Dynamic Force Enhancement. Generate oversteer and understeer wheel rim vibration effects. Add and adjust vibration functionality by using game telemetry to control the rumble motors found in many ClubSport steering wheels and ClubSport Pedals V3 throttle and brake.
Add and adjust display functionality by using game telemetry to show different values on the steering wheel. Change the behavior of the RevLEDs. Use telemetry to control the FlagLEDs in different colors and layouts. Your Lap times will Suffer I was Racing and People Kept Flying by me One guy asked why i kept pushing my brakes on a Straight and it was then i Figured it out that yhe Brakes Random event was Happening again This has to get fixed but if its a Hard ware issue dont see how it can be Fixed without New adjusted parts Edit: The Random Brake pedal input seems to be my only Problem with the 1.
Any 1 else notice the Highwr the Preload the More Random. Brake events you get. Achim Stockburger Member. Thx in advance! Richard Craig Member. I miss that right now I get a huge delay on shifting with the paddle shifters like a shift without clutch, and it bounces off the rev limiter before shifting.
You need to change from "manual with clutch" to just "manual" in game assists. I hope they bring ACL back for forza for us paddle users. Natalie , how do you manage to update the V3s manually I also tried to load the hex file to know which one was for the base. And saved them in a separate folder. Then I deleted, to be sure, V and installed V, did the fw 1. Played around with pressure screw, signal resistance slider and auto calibration. And then decided I wanted to see if the values of pressure would be the same, so I started up the V3 update window, wanted to choose the hex file from V again, manually Hey G, this was one of the issues I reported with my pedals.
I have the very same problem as I'm new in this Fanatec ecosystem. It would be nice if there was a list for the official and beta drivers separately. All the equipment have different version. So if I'd like to use the official one should I use v? Or is it safe relatively to use beta version v? We recommend that you download the latest driver package based on the products you are trying to use together.
I'm very interested in getting one of your bundle for my PS5 but I might have an issue with those PCs updates in order to get the system updated with last drivers and ready to ride at its best. Being in California and specifically in SF, it's almost impossible to find someone with a PC in hand other than at work and that can't happen. So question!
